PKS Sähkönsiirto Ltd was the fifth company to become a developer of the Enerity™ Electricity Grid solution in the spring. PKS Sähkönsiirto Ltd had no previous business experience with Tietokoura and had very little knowledge concerning the new business partner. In addition to PKS Sähkönsiirto Ltd, the pricing and business monitoring of the Enerity ™ Electricity Grid has been used in other electricity distribution companies belonging to the development group: Keravan Energia Ltd, Kymenlaakson Sähköverkko Ltd, Järvi-Suomen Energia Ltd, Lappeenrannan Energiaverkot Ltd. “We have been very pleased to be involved in the development project,” says Raimo Toivanen of PKS Sähkönsiirto Ltd. “The project has been useful in many ways and the forthcoming power tariff and its implementation have raised good discussions in the development team in which we have gained important additional expertise. In addition, participating in the development team has enabled us to access the solution and influence its content.”
Enerity ™ Electricity grid
Enerity ™ Electricity Grid is a standardized, cost-effective solution that enables the company to optimize the performance of its business with the programming of current and new tariffs. Product pricing and compatibility with future Datahub are also taken into account in the product development. The software includes integrations to customer and measurement information systems that are connected to the client company’s information systems upon deployment. Production deployment is based on year-round development work and the solution will be further developed taking into account the future needs. “We expect from Tietokoura that the current emphasis in development and collaboration will remain. We expect the solution to continue to evolve according to the needs of electricity distribution companies, to meet our future needs as well,” Raimo Toivanen explains.
